Two Cheese and Chicken Main Course Recipe Ideas

 

There are a lot of people who avoid eating dairy products, especially cheese because it contains too many calories, which thus helps one gain more weight. But if you are not one of these people and definitely do not mind eating cheese, or you even prefer eating it, then today’s main course recipes are perfect for you.

Cheese, Chicken, and Broccoli Dish

Ingredients:

3 chicken breasts
1 cup of white rice
2 cups of broccoli
1 can cream of chicken
1 cup of cheddar cheese
1 and ½ cups of chicken broth
¼ teaspoon of pepper
½ teaspoon of onion powder
salt to taste

Directions:

Step 1

First you need to get a baking tin big enough to cook the dish in it. Then put the rice and sprinkle it with the pepper and the onion powder. After that add the chicken cream, the cheddar cheese and the broccoli. And pour the chicken broth on top of the rest of the products. Mix all the ingredients as much as you can. When you are done with that add the three chicken breasts and put them on top of the rest of the ingredients.

Step 2

When you are ready with preparing the meal, get some cooking foil and wrap the top part of the tin as if you are putting there a lid. Then you simply need to bake the dish for 50 minutes at 190 0C. When this time is up remove the tin from the oven, but do not turn it off yet. Remove the foil and sprinkle the chicken breasts only with some more cheddar cheese. Then put the foil back on and continue baking the dish for 5 more minutes. When the time is up, your dish will be ready. Serve it while it is still hot.

Chicken and Mozzarella Pasta

Ingredients:

3 chicken breasts
1 pound of penne
2 ½ cups of chicken broth
2 ½ cups of heavy cream
2 cups of parmesan
2 cups of mozzarella
4 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Step 1
First you need to get a cooking pot. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in it and add the chicken breasts. You need to cut them into pieces beforehand. Make them as big as for two bites. Season the breasts with salt and pepper to your taste and add the 4 garlic cloves.

Step 2
Stir them well and after that add the chicken broth and the heavy cream. Mix them a little and then add the pound of penne. Now you need to mix them very well and to let them cook for about 15-20 minutes.

Step 3
When this time is over, add 1 and ½ cups of parmesan and leave the other ½ cup for later. Again mix all the ingredients well. And when the parmesan has melted, remove the pot from the hot plate.

Step 4
Now you need to get a baking tin. Apply some olive oil on the bottom and spread it equally. Then pour half of the pasta mixture. After that sprinkle the top of it with 1 cup of mozzarella. Then add the rest of the pasta mixture on top and sprinkle it with the other cup of mozzarella and the remaining ½ cup of parmesan.

Step 5
Bake the dish for about 10-15 minutes at 200 0C. When the top of the dish turns into a delicious golden-brown color, remove the tin from the oven. Serve it while it is still hot and you can even sprinkle it with some basil, but this is only up to you.
