Egypt does not have only one wonder as many people would think. Another of the country’s interesting sights is the White Desert. This natural wonder has a perfectly reasonable explanations – chalk. The mountain pieces look as if they have been covered in snow which makes one’s experience there really interesting. Imagine snow in the middle of a desert. And apart from that this kind of “snow” will not be as chilly as the real one.
The next interesting place in the list is Luxor. You may have heard of it but not to know that it is in Egypt. This place has a lot of landmarks to offer. Some of them are the Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, and the Memorial Temple of Hatshepsut. You need to spend at least a couple of days there in order to visit everything possible.
#6 The Valley of the Kings
You can start your tour there with the Valley of the Kings which is located near Luxor. There you will see the tombs of the royals and privileged nobles. You can learn a lot from the pictures on the walls which show Egyptian gods and the people’s beliefs in the past.
The next thing you definitely need to see when you are in Luxor is Karnak Temple Complex. It is largely preserved even if it has been built in ancient times. The complex consists of several temples, three of which are the main ones. There are some that are outer ones as well.
One of the most astonishing sight in the complex is probably the rows of massive columns which are so big that still evoke some questions among scholars about how they were built.
