Today’s hair tutorial is an elegant and romantic, fancy flower braid bun for medium or long hair. Now let’s get started!
Step 1: Before you begin, brush your locks to remove any knots or tangles. Pull your hair into a high ponytail and secure with a hair tie. Now divide it into three equal parts.
Step 2: Start by teasing your hair at the crown a bit for lift if you think you need or want it. Tease the first section to add volume to your hair.
Step 3: Grab the first section and roll it down to the base of the ponytail. Roll to the front and secure with bobby pins into the tied hair.
Step 4: Do the same technique with the second section of the ponytail. Tease the section before you do anything else. To add extra volume to your ponytail, backcomb some hair pieces. To do that properly, hold a section of your hair straight upward, place a comb in the roots and apply firm brush strokes downward to the scalp. Repeat the procedure with the next small sections of hair until you are satisfied with the final result. Apply hairspray all over your stacked ponytail.
Step 5: Tease, roll and pin in place. You will want to place bobby pins as you wrap the section.
Step 6: And the last section you have to roll down to the other direction.
Step 7: Once the parts are rolled and secured you have to spread them, gently pull the sections of the rolls outside with your hands.
Step 8: Use additional bobby pins to secure the flower bun. Tuck the ends of any flyaways with bobby pins so they are out of sight.
Step 9: Straighten the bangs and spray the whole hairstyle with a hairspray. Now you are ready to go out and show off your amazing new hairstyle to the world!
