Who says smoky eye needs to be only black or brown? There is no rule when it comes to choosing the colour of your makeup look. Now let’s get started with this smoky eye look using soft yet very colourful shadows!
Step 1: Grab your brown eye pencil and apply it from the outer corner to the end of the eyebrow. This would create a winged eyeliner look. Then, apply the pencil from the end of the wing following your crease line.
Step 2: Grab your soft makeup brush and apply crème shadow inside the empty space on your eyelid, just below the crease line.
Step 3: Take another makeup brush, dip it in brown shadow and smudge the pencil with more colour towards the eyebrow. If you want the makeup to be more intense, simply add more colour on top.
Step 4: Grab your metallic palette and start putting the colours on top of the lid to make the makeup more interesting and appealing. Add green shadow to the inner corner. Apply the bronze one in the middle of the lid. The final brown eyeshadow should be applied to the outer corner of your eyelid.
Step 5: Use turquoise eye pencil underneath your eye, following the waterline. Use a thick swipe to apply the colour and make it more intense.
Step 6: Use a smaller makeup brush to smudge the pencil across the waterline.
Step 7: Grab your liquid eyeliner and trace your upper lash line. The perfect cat eyeliner is ever fashionable, very flattering for most eye shapes and delivers a sultry, mysterious look to your simple everyday eyeshadow look.
Step 8: Last but not least, add several coats of your long-lasting mascara to wrap up the final soft smoky eye makeup effect.
