People go through different stages in their lives and during each one of them they learn something new. When people are lost and cannot deal with some serious problem they have, they often go on a journey, to find themselves, to learn new things about themselves, and, of course, to have a new perspective of life.

When people live only at one place and do not travel much, they cannot expand their mind and point of view as much as they would if they traveled. Speaking of going through different stages in life, there are places which are best to be seen at a certain time and thus stage in a person’s life.

#1 Iceland

Iceland may not look like an attractive place for teenagers and people in their 20s because there is a lot of ice, snow, and low temperatures, but mature people would really appreciate the country and its beauty. That is why your 30s are the time to visit it.

You can arrange your visit to the country in the winter and to see the Northern Light, which is considered by many people one of the most beautiful sights in the world, mesmerizing and breath-taking.

And if you are curious to see Iceland in the summer, you will get the chance to experience all-day days since in the summer it is not getting darker in this very northern part of the north hemisphere.

This country is really beautiful at any time of the year. Whenever you go there, it is likely to appeal to you not only because of its weather but also because of its nature and people.

#2 Japan

Japan is a country with a really rich culture. It is very different to the countries in the west and that is one of the reasons people in their 30s should visit it. It will open one’s eyes to different points of view about their lives and maybe this change of perspectives can help a person learn something new about themselves.

The best time to visit Japan is spring when all the cherry trees are blooming. The scenery is extremely beautiful with all the rosy blossoms falling in the air as if they were rain drops. This type of tree is a symbol of the country. It is a symbol of transience and it can show you that life is short and people need to appreciate every moment here, on earth.

#3 The Great Wall of China

The next place is one of the most famous ones in the world. It is claimed that it even can be seen from outer space because it is so big. This is, of course, the Great Wall of China. It is an international landmark and one of the symbols of the country.

If you decide to visit it, you will get the chance to learn more about this culture and its history. Maybe you yourself would like to “go over” the wall and to discover your real self being there.

Of course, you will not be able to visit the whole of it since it stretches through thousands of kilometers across China, but there are certain sections of it you can visit, like the Mutianyu one which is located about 70 km from the capital Beijing. There are not that many people visiting it and at the same time you can get a cable car to take you to the top.

#4 El Camino de Santiago, Spain

The next trip which you can take in your 30s, or whenever you feel lost, is a very special one. It is El Camino de Santiago in Spain. There are several routes part of the whole pilgrimage trip, the most famous of which is Camino Francés. It is about 780 kilometers long, but do not worry, you can take breaks whenever you want. There are cheap places you can take a rest, have a shower and sleep on a comfortable mattress.

There are people who prefer to go on this route alone to find the answers they are looking for, but you can go with some friends if you like to keep you company as well. The destination that you need to reach after the end of the tour is yourself. This trip is all about inner peace and finding the answers one needs.
