I will show you how to cover the different eye shapes into a basic three-color lid makeup. Take a look:
The highlighter must go at the inner corner of the eye and the are under the tail of the eyebrow. The midtone must be applied on the area above the crease, to the outer corner of the lid. And the accent color (the darkest shade) must be applied on the outer corner of the lid, including the lash line.
The highlighter must be applied on the whole lid, to the crease and under the tail of the brow, but the last line must be thin and short. The midtone must be applied only on the inner half of the crease and a little bit below the brow. The accent of the makeup must cover the whole outer corner of the eye, including the crease area.
You will need to apply only a little bit of highlighter on the area under the brow tail. The line must be thin. Cover the whole lid with the midtone color – from the lash line, to the brow bone and on the outer corner of the lid. The accent color must be applied on a small area, into a V-shape at the outer corner of the lid.
The highlighter goes to: the whole lid (no further than the crease) and the area under the brow tail. The midtone must cover the crease, the brow bone and a little bit under the brow tail, under the highlighter. The accent of the makeup must be applied into a V-shape at the outer corner of the lid.
The highlighter must enhance the inner corner of the eye (the tear duct area) and the area under the brow tail. Divide the lid in two and apply the midtone on the inner half and the accent color on the outer half of the lid.
The whole area under the brow must be covered in highlighter, including the inner corner of the lid. Cover the whole remaining area with the midtone and only the outer V-shape of the lid with the accent color.
