Scroll down and learn how to acquire the beautiful, natural effect of this lip trick. Before you begin, it’s very important to prepare and moisturise your lips. In order to remove any dead skin cells and have a smooth surface to work on, apply your favourite scrub onto a clean toothbrush and use a circular motion to gently exfoliate your lips. Next, grab your non-oily lip balm and apply it from the centre of the lip first towards the corners.
Step 1: Once you’ve prepared and moisturized your lips properly, it’s time to highlight the Cupid’s bow. Use a pale lip pencil for this step. Start from the center of your lips and then sweep the pencil along the perimeter of the lip area towards the Cupid’s bow.
Step 2: Slightly blend the highlighter along the upper lip. Nicely smudge the pencil with your fingertips to create the perfect smooth surface.
Step 3: Next up, apply your favourite nude lipstick on your entire lip area. The finish of the lipstick is entirely up to you, but if you have dry skin you may want to use moisturized lipstick or choose consider matte finish if your skin is oily.
Step 4: As a final step, apply some highlighter to the center of your lower lip to add volume. Use a fluffy brush to diffuse the lines up into the centre of your lips. This will create a flawless and natural ombre effect. It is up to you if you want to apply lip gloss. It will highlight your lips and create that amazing, glossy finish to your makeup. Just one swipe should be able to provide an unbelievable laydown of colour. Of course you can top your lips with whatever color you prefer, but if you go for a nude gloss, you will get the most out of your lip pencil contouring.
