How to Deal with Some of the Most Common Summer Problems

The season we have waited the most has come and it is time to enjoy it to the max. However, not everything is perfectly flawless in the summer. There are a lot of things that can irritate you about the summer that you have not realized before facing them again. Remember the excessive sweating, mosquito bites, or the sand covering all of your body?

As much as we love the summer, we have to admit that there are still some things that are an obstacle to having the time of our lives in the summer. Today we have decided to show you how to deal with some of the most common summer problems. Try out these hacks!

#1 Remove sand from your body with baby powder

If you are a fan a life hacks (like me), you will probably know that a lot of women are using baby powder as a dry shampoo. It is easier, cheaper and more effective. Well, it turns out that baby powder has another important use as well – it can help you remove sand from your skin when you are at the beach.

The only thing you need to do is to take some baby powder with you when you go to the beach and once you decide to head home, you simply need to apply baby powder on the parts of your body which are covered with sand and to massage it a little. You even do not have to rub it a lot because the sand will fall off quite easily.

#2 Use dryer sheets instead of bug repellent

As we mentioned earlier, bug bites, especially mosquito ones are extremely annoying, itchy and sometimes even ugly. We have to think how to protect our skin from the bugs 24 hours a day, because they can even bite you when you are sleeping. So, you can choose to use bug repellents. They are very good at chasing away the annoying bug.

However, there are a lot of chemicals used in these products. When you apply them you need to be extra careful not to touch your face with it. Which also means that you cannot apply repellent on your face and bugs can bite you there.

The best solution for you would be to use dryer sheets. They do not have chemicals, but still bugs do not like their ingredients, so you can be sure bugs will stay away from you. Make sure you have a couple of dryer sheets with you all the time. And every time before you go out, just rub a dryer sheet all over your body. Make sure it is all of it since mosquitos can bite even through your clothes. This is very useful summer hack, so make sure you take advantage of it.

#3 Put your phone in a plastic bag

The next thing that will “save your life” in the summer, or better yet, it will save the life of your phone, is simply to put it in a plastic bag. The great thing is that you can still use your phone even through the plastic bag and at the same time you will protect it from the sand and, of course, from the water. You probably know a lot of people who had to buy new phones because they were not carful enough when they were at the beach. It is better to be safe than sorry after all, right?

#4 Turn your flip-flops upside down

The last of the hacks is about flip-flops. It is very easy and you will probably wonder why you have not known this before. The only thing you need to do about it is to turn your flip-flops upside down when you take them off at the beach.

This way they will not heat that much because of the sun, and when you decide and you have had enough and you want to go, you will just put on your flip-flops and they will not burn your feet. As in many other cases when you did not do this.

Well, now you know some very important summer hacks that will help you make your summer more pleasant.
