Gradient Pink Lips Tutorial

Gradient Pink Lips Tutorial

Today the gradient makeup technique is one of the most popular beauty trends among the beauty bloggers all over the world. Now is the time to ace the gradient lip trend with this amazing makeup tutorial. For the flawless looking lips, choose pink and peachy colours as they always make your lips pop!

Step 1: Before you begin to create the gradient lip look, make sure that your lips are perfectly supple and moisturized. Dry lips and lipstick do not mix, so make sure you prepare your lip area first. Next, grab your non-oily lip balm and apply it from the centre of your lips towards the corners.

Step 2: Now, get your baby powder and with your finger touch the baby powder in your palm until you get a decent amount. Now pat some baby powder on your lips with the help of your finger. Make sure you have covered the entire lip area. Carefully tap on your lips and try not to smear! As the saying goes, it’s always much easier to build up the intensity slowly, rather than dabbing on more than you should and having to start all over. Then, with the use of clean brush remove powder around your lips.

Step 3: Now grab your pink lipstick and outline your upper lip line including the cross lines.

Step 4: Sharpen the pencil and outline your upper lip very carefully.

Step 5: Do the same for the bottom lip by gently outlining it.

Step 6: Fill your lips in with the pencil, beginning in the middle and ensuring the colour goes all the way out to the edges.

Step 7: Make sure you leave the centre of the lips nude for now. You will fill them in with the peachy pencil for the gradient effect.

Step 8: Then, fill in the centre of the lips with your lighter shade of lip pencil. Make a few light strokes close to the inside of your mouth. If you want the colour to be intense, add more lipstick at the centre of your upper and lower lips. Start from the middle and blend it outwards into a lighter colour.

Step 9: As a final step, apply your favourite nude lip gloss on your entire lip area.
