It’s Friday night which means going to that fancy club downtown with your best friends! You can barely contain your excitement as the big night approaches. We all know that there are nights when your same-old taupe eyeshadow and baby-pink blush just won’t cut it. Now is the time to let your inner makeup artist shine. You’ll definitely nail your look this Friday night with this glamorous makeup tutorial!
For this fabulous and colourful eye makeup, you will need several supplies: primer, black eyeshadow, white shadow, purple eyeshadow, black liquid eyeliner, mascara, false eyelashes and several
Step 1: Before applying any makeup on, creating a flawless base that brightens and enhances your final look is an essential first step that you should not skip. Choose the right primer for your skin type and apply it to your eyelid with a foundation brush. This way you will create a smooth and soft base for your makeup application.
Step 2: Use a soft, fluffy brush dipped in black eyeshadow to gently distribute the colour on the outer corner of your eyelid. Blend the shadow with circular movements towards the crease line.
Step 3: Then, apply white shadow on the other half of your eyelid, from the centre towards the inner corner.
Step 4: Take another makeup brush to add purple eyeshadow across your crease line, gently blending it with the other shades. The more firmly you press down with your brush, the darker the colour will be.
Step 5: Since this is a sassy evening makeup, add a generous amount of the white shadow on your inner corner to add a mysterious touch to your look.
Step 6: In order to accentuate the smoky eye effect, you need to apply black eyeshadow on the lower lash line. You can blow on the brush after dipping it into the shadow to prevent any unwanted dust from falling on to your cheeks.
Step 7: If you wish to make your look really intense, recoat another layer of the colourful eyeshadows on top and blend them nicely.
Step 8: Use liquid eyeliner to outline you upper waterline. Start from the inner corner of your eyelid towards the edge, carefully applying the liner as close as possible to your lash line. Extend the eyeliner into the desired wing shape at the end. It takes patience and practice to master the skill of eyeliner application. Once you’ve gotten the hang of it, you will see how easy it actually is!
Step 9: A great way to further highlight your eyes is by using fake eyelashes. Apply them by placing the strip on your eyelid, positioning it as close as possible to your natural lashes. Once the strip is set in place, apply black mascara on both your top and bottom lashes. You can even try mascara that contains a little bit of sparkle!
