Eye Design to Match Your Dark Lipstick

Eye Design to Match Your Dark Lipstick

We can see the best trends on Instagram and Pinterest. And you can say that the most famous color is the purple one. Especially when applied on the lips. I want to show you how to match the purple lipstick with the eye makeup. Take a look at the steps and gather two very important colors – purple and dark pink. Here we go:

  • If you don’t apply primer on the lids, then you will increase the chance of having your makeup smudged and destroyed. The primer has one very important function – it absorbs the skin oils, which leaves the surface of the lid dry. That’s how the makeup is protected from smudging and fading away.

  • Then, you have to start with the color application. First, apply a base color on the lid. Use a beige color that will blend completely with the skin color. This base color must be matte. Spread it all around the lid, including the inner corner of the eye and the brow bone.

  • Then, you will need a purple eye pencil. Draw a strong V-shape at the outer corner of the eye. The lines of the V-shape must trace the crease and the half of the lash line.

  • Then, pull out the color and create a smudged effect. Use a round, but hard brush. Try not to smudge the inner edge of the purple V shape.

  • Then, fill in the lid with the dark purple color. Don’t blend the border between the two colors. They mustn’t be merged.

  • Then, draw a thick, and winged eyeliner with a liquid black eyeliner.

  • Enhance the bottom lid with the purple color and the black color. If your eyes are too small, you must apply nude-colored pencil to open up your eyes.

  • Finish the look with a mascara or with fake lashes.

  • All done! Enjoy the look and come back for more great ideas and designs. Have fun!
