Nowadays a person can try a lot of different international cuisines without leaving their city since there are a lot of restaurants offering international dishes.
This way you can be in Russia and have some Italian food, or be in England and have some Indian traditional dishes. This often makes people more of adventurous eaters since they are willing to try new things and international cuisines.
Today we have prepared for you some recipes which to some of you will be exotic ones and other people will consider them something they would normally have.
Well, I can say that these recipes are very delicious and recommend them to those of you who like having main course dishes with fruits in them. Today we have prepared for you 2 main course recipes with pineapple in them. Here they are!
#1 Pineapple Chicken
6 chicken thighs
100 ml of chicken stock
1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of garlic paste
1 tablespoon of olive oil
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
First you need to cut the flesh of the pineapple into cubes. And then cut the chicken thighs into pieces which need to be as big as the pineapple cubes, or they could be bigger.
Get a pan and heat the olive oil in it. Then add the pieces of chicken thighs and season them with salt and black pepper to your taste and stir them a little bit. Stir-fry the chicken thighs until they turn from pink to greyish. Then without removing the pan from the hotplate, take the chicken pieces out of the pan.
Now with the remaining olive oil still sizzling, add the pineapple pieces into the pan. Pour on top of them the hoisin sauce, the soy sauce, the brown sugar, and the garlic paste and then stir them well so they get equally seasoned.
After that you need to pour the chicken stock in the pan and to stir all the mixture carefully. Leave it to boil and then stir it a little bit more. In a minute or so after that add the cooked chicken thighs pieces and mix them well with the rest of the ingredients in the pan. Cook the dish for a couple of more minutes and then take it off the hotplate.
The last thing you need to do is to serve the dish while it is still warm. You need to serve it with some cooked rice as a side dish. You can also sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of the pineapple-chicken dish. And voila, the dish is ready! Enjoy it!
#2 Grilled Pineapple Hotdogs
1 pound of bacon strips
12 hotdog buns
2 teaspoons of paprika
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
½ teaspoon of black pepper
salt to taste
raw red onion
First you need to cut the pineapple into slices which need to be as long and wide as the hotdogs. Then put them in a bowl and season them with the paprika, the garlic powder, the chili powder, the onion powder, the black pepper and some salt to your taste.
Then using your hands mix the pineapple slices with the spices so that they are season evenly. You can take your time while you are doing this in order to get a well-seasoned pineapple pieces. Then you can move on to the next step.
Get 2 bacon strips and put them one above the other by overlapping a little bit. Then get a hotdog and a seasoned pineapple slice and put them at the end of the first bacon strip.
Then start rolling the bacon strip with the pineapple slice and the hotdog inside until you cover all of them with bacon strips. Do the same with the remaining 12 hotdogs.
Once the hotdogs are rolled in bacon strips, you need to grill them. Grill them on low heat for 20 minutes on each side. Taking time to grill the hotdogs will make them better cooked and thus more delicious.
When the hotdogs are ready, get the buns and put a hotdog in each one of them. Add some ketchup and some raw chopped red onion. You can add mustard or any other ingredients that you like. This is up to you. And then the hotdogs will be ready to be eaten. Enjoy your meal!g
