Stick the stem of the rose into the hole of the potato and then bury half of itin a pot full of dirt. Then give it a nice watering. In a couple of weeks the rose will develop roots and this way you will grow some roses yourself.

#3 Keep your dish from boiling over using a wooden spoon
You may already know this trick, but if you do not, you definitely need to try it. If you are boiling some soup, for example, and you are afraid that at one point the dish may boil over, you need to put a wooden spoon over the top of the pot/pan.
This way when the boiling mixture reaches the level of the end of the pot, it will be stopped by the wooden spoon. This will be because it will pop the boiling bubbles and this way the dish will be safe from boiling over.

And this is using chips. They are a perfect fire-setting item, because they contain oil and other chemicals. You can immediately start a fire with the help of some chips, wooden sticks and matches.
