Easy Waves Using Flat Iron

Easy Waves Using Flat Iron

This tutorial will show you how easy it is to make one of the loveliest and prettiest hairstyles ever. There is no hairstyle which looks more natural, carefree, and beautiful than the beach waves!

Add a little leave-in conditioner on your ends and lengths of your hair. You can also invest in a special beach waves tousling spray to maximize volume and waves. Since you are about to use a heat styling straightener, it is very important to add a heat protection spray. This way your hair will be protected from split ends, breakage, dryness and lack of luster.

Step 1: Divide your hair into several sections. Use clippers to separate the sections.

Step 2: Braid the sections into the traditional three-strand method. When you reach the end, secure the braids with a clear rubber band. Depending on how large or small you want your waves to be, you can choose how many braids to create.

Step 3: Now, take your flat iron and heat up your braids.

Step 4: Pressing a flat iron several times over the braid will create those “effortless” looking waves.

Step 5: Take one braid at a time and slowly move the straightener on top.

Step 6: Continue heating the other braids up. Use your fingers to gently press the braid between the hair straightener.

Allow enough time for the braids to cool down before releasing them. Then, take out your braids to reveal your loose, messy waves. Flip your head and run fingers through your hair to gently break up some curls. This way your hairstyle will look more casual. You can add some hairspray all over your hairstyle to keep your waves in place longer. Next time you are looking for a new, fun beachy hairstyle, pull out your flat iron and get this amazing look in no time!
