The ever-famous braided crown hairstyle will make your whole look amazing for any upcoming event – whatever the occasion! You will find the steps very easy to follow, so let’s see what you need to do.
Start with your hair down. Brush it nicely to remove any knots or tangles. Add a small amount of your favorite leave-in conditioner on the ends and lengths of the hair.
Step 1: Section your hair into three parts – one at the crown to secure the bangs and two on each side. Secure with rubber bands.
Step 2: Part a hair section from your left side just behind your year. To make a French braid, divide this section into three strands. Cross the right strand over the centre strand and then cross the left strand over the centre strand. Following the same technique, continue braiding until you reach the end. Secure your braid with clear hair elastic at the end. Wrap the braid toward the back-centre of your head and use bobby pins to secure it below the crown.
Step 3: Use the same braiding method to add another braid on the other side of your head, just behind your right ear. Pull the second braid under the first one so they meet in the middle. Pin down the edges to prevent the braid from falling down. Continue pinning all your braids in place in a circle and tuck any loose ends underneath.
Step 4: Release the bangs – you can either leave them hanging loosely or clip them in place using a bobby pin. For a softer look, pull a few face framing pieces out so that your crown braid has a softer, more elegant look.
Step 5: Apply light hairspray all over your hair. Now you are ready to go out and show off your amazing new hairstyle!
