Switch up your long-hair look by weaving your strands into this twisted heart hairstyle look!
Step 1: Begin by brushing through the hair to remove any knots or tangles. Add a little leave-in conditioner on your ends and lengths of your hair. Now, divide two small sections of your hair from each side, bring them around to the back of your head and then secure them together with a clear rubber band. If you want to spice your hairstyle up, you may even choose a colourful rubber band in pink, red or blue!
Step 2: Now, grab a one inch section from one side, directly underneath the previous section, and bring it towards the back.
Step 3: Then taking this section, you need to loop it around and over the previously secured section.
Step 4: Pinning this loop in place with a bobby pin and then grab the same amount of hair from the other side.
Step 5: Then looping it over and under like the other side. This would recreate the top of the heart!
Step 6: Bring the ends of the two wrapped pieces together underneath the elastic band. As you can see, it is not difficult at all if you follow the instructions precisely.
Step 7: Secure the two sections together with a rubber band to form the bottom part of your heart.
Step 8: Now all you need to do is apply some light hold hairspray to keep the heart in place and make sure that any flyaways won’t get on your way.
Step 9: If you want to get the most out of your heart shape hairstyle, then curl the ends of your hair. Wrap a relatively large part of the tail around the barrel of the curling wand. The secret is to curl your hair with the iron pointing down – this will take your beauty game to the next level! Wait for a couple of minutes before releasing the curl. Repeat the process with the next section of your hair. When you are ready, set your curls with a blast of texture hairspray and a touch of leave-in conditioner on the ends and lengths of your hair.
