There are a lot of people who do not cook because it takes them a lot of time and that is why they prefer to have something on foot. Sometimes, however, a person may have to cook some special dish for their family or friends. And it will definitely be a good thing if you have in mind some recipes.
Today we have prepared for you a couple of starter recipes with cheese which you could prepare the next time you invite some guests over. Or you could have them as main meals if you are alone at home and want to have something delicious for dinner. Here are the recipes!
#1 Chicken Stuffed with Parmesan
3 chicken breasts
3 cups of tomato sauce
½ cup of parmesan
2 tablespoons of basil
First you need to get the chicken breasts and season them with salt on each side. You will need about 2-3 pinches of salt, or season them to your taste. Then you need to cut them on the side vertically so you could make a kind of a pocket in the chicken breast.
Now get a handful of mozzarella and stuff it inside the opening you made in the chicken breast. Try to close it inside so it does not fall. Then do the same with the other two chicken breasts.
When the chicken breasts are stuffed with mozzarella, roll the first chicken breast in some flour, then in raw eggs, and finally roll it in some bread crumbs. Do the same with the other chicken breasts.
Then heat some oil in a deep pan and stir-fry the chicken breasts for a couple of minutes on each side until the sides turn dark brownish. Then remove the chicken breast from the pan.
Now you need to get a deep baking tin and pour half of the tomato sauce amount on the bottom of it. Spread it evenly. Then put the three stir-fired chicken breast in the tin.
Pour the other half of the tomato sauce on top of them dividing it equally between the breasts. Then sprinkle the parmesan on top of the chicken breast again spreading it equally. And finally you need to sprinkle the chopped basil on top of the chicken breasts.
The last thing you need to do is to bake the dish in the oven for 20 minutes at 1800 C. When the time is up, you can take the tin out of the oven and you can serve the dish. It is best to serve it while it is still hot so the parmesan and the mozzarella are nicely melted and very delicious.
#2 Cauliflower and cheese toast
This recipe is interesting and it is perfect for those of you who love cauliflower and for all vegetarians out there. Apart from that it is easier than the first recipe and it will take faster to be made. Here are the ingredients!
½ cup of vegetarian parmesan
¼ cup of basil
½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of oregano
salt to taste
First you need to wash the cauliflower and then to grate it. Make sure you grate the whole of it. You need to make a mixture similar to ground beef ones. Put the cauliflower in a bowl and season it with a couple of pinches of salt. Then let it sit in the bowl for 20 minutes.
When the time is up the cauliflower would have gotten softer. Get a clean cheesecloth and put the grated cauliflower in it. Squeeze it and this way you will drain the water from it. This way the cauliflower will be ready to be included in the mixture for the toasts.
Put the drained cauliflower in a bowl and add in it the eggs and the parmesan. Chop the basil and then add it inside the bowl as well. Season the mixture with the oregano, the garlic powder, and the red pepper flakes. Mix all the ingredients well.
Now get a spoonful of the cauliflower mixture and create a meatball of it using your hands. Do the same with the rest of the mixture. Then fry it in a non-stick pan with a small amount of cooking oil in the pan. Fry the pieces for a couple of minutes on each side until they turn brownish.
Once you flip them the first time put a piece of cheese on top of it to let it melt. Then you could remove them from the pan. Put another piece of already fried cauliflower mixture on top of the one with the cheese to make a toast. Do the same with the rest of the pieces and you are done!
