Delicious Smoothie Recipes for Healthy Eaters

Nowadays people know how important a healthy diet is to one’s health and well-being. People turn to fruits and vegetables more and more because they contain a lot of vitamins and minerals and not only this, but they also are low in calories, which makes them perfect for the people who want to lose weight and for the ones who want to stay fit.

Since we encourage healthy eating, we decided to show you a few smoothie recipes which are not only healthy, but delicious as well. Smoothies are a perfect way to start your day with. They will give you energy to face your daily tasks and to feel good about your body.

So, check the recipes we have prepared for you today!

#1 Orange smoothie

The first of the smoothies is named in such a way because of its color and not because it is going to consist only of oranges. For it you will need:

2 oranges

1 mango

2 carrots

First you need to peel the oranges and to cut them into pieces. You can use a knife, or your hands if you like. The peel the mango and dice it. And lastly, you need to wash the carrots and grate them.

If you do not want to prepare the smoothie straight away, you can put all the ingredients in a plastic bag and freeze them. This way you can prepare the ingredients beforehand and to make the smoothie whenever you want. Just make sure you do not keep the ingredients too long in the freezer.

When you decide you want to make yourself the smoothie, you only need to put the ingredients from the plastic bag into a blender. Add a ½ cup of milk into the blender and blend it all. In less than a minute the smoothie will be ready to be drunk.

#2 Red smoothie

The next smoothie is called Red because it contains only pink and red fruits: strawberries, raspberries, and watermelon. It is a great smoothie for the summer when you can find plenty of watermelons, but if you cannot wait till then, you can surely try it now as well. Here is what you need to do to prepare it!


2 cups of fresh strawberries

2 cups of fresh raspberries

1 cup of watermelon

1 cup of almond milk

½ cup of Greek yogurt



First you need to prepare the fruits. Wash the strawberries and remove the green leaves they have. Then cut them in 2-4 pieces depending on the size of the strawberries.

Then you need to wash the raspberries. There is no need to cut them because they are small enough for the blender mix.

Step 2

And lastly you need to deal with the watermelon. Remove the thick rind because you are going to need only the flesh of it.

Then remove all the seeds carefully because if even one ends up in the blender, it may make it not work that smoothly and besides, you would definitely not want to drink the seeds as well. Then cut the watermelon into smaller pieces and put all the fruits in the blender. Step 3

Add the almond milk and the yogurt. If you want you can use a vanilla flavored yogurt. And you can use regular milk instead of the almond one if you prefer.

Step 4

Blend everything nicely for a minute or so and after that your smoothie will be ready. Enjoy it!

#3 Green and Yellow Mix

The last recipe for smoothie in the list is the one which consists of green and yellow ingredients. Another thing which is more specific about it is that not all of them would be fruits, as in the previous two recipes. One of them is more special and it is spinach. Yes, spinach can also make a really good ingredient for a smoothie, not to mention that it is very healthy as well. If you are ready to try it, check the recipe!


3 kiwis

1 ½ cups of pineapples

2 cups of spinach

½ cup of milk, or almond milk


First you need to peel the kiwis and to dice them. Some people prefer not to peel kiwis, but for this smoothie is better if you do peel them.

Then if you are using a canned pineapple, you only need to measure 1 ½ cup of it. If you are using a fresh one, make sure you remove the peel carefully and dice the flesh of it.

Then wash the spinach. Add all the ingredients in the blender with the milk last. Blend everything together for a minute or so. The color of the smoothie will be a light green one because of the spinach and the taste will be mild and fresh.
