Delicious Recipes with Stuffed Mushrooms

Nowadays there are a lot of meals a person can have no matter whether this is a traditional meal for the country they live in, or some foreign one. One of the good things about globalization is that all different cuisines and products can make a new dish based on some traditional one. As well as different meals, there are different ingredients which people may love or hate, and they can substitute them for another ingredient. And this is sometimes how the magic works.

Today we decided to show you a couple of recipes with one main ingredient which is very healthy even if a lot of people do not know about it – mushrooms. Mushrooms are said to be good for one’s bones, especially for the bones in one’s ear. This way if you want to improve your hearing you need to have a lot of mushrooms. So, here are the recipes we prepared for you!

#1 Parmesan Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

15 mushrooms
8 ounces of cream cheese
¼ cup of breadcrumbs
¼ cup of parmesan
2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
2 tablespoons of chopped garlic
½ tablespoon of salt
½ tablespoon of black pepper

Directions:

Step 1

First you need to wash the mushrooms very well. It is better to do it, or if you want you can peel them instead, to remove the dirt from the first layer. Then, after this is done, you need to remove the stalks of the mushrooms from their caps. Put them in two separate bowls.

Step 2

Then you need to take all the mushroom stems and to chop them very thinly. Then get a pan and heat some oil in it. Add the chopped mushroom stalks and then add the chopped garlic cloves. Season them with the salt and the black pepper. After that you need to stir the mixture so it is seasoned evenly.

Cook it for about 6-8 minutes at medium temperature by stirring almost constantly. When the time passes, the mixture will have turned dark brown and will have shrunk a little. Take the pan off the hotplate.

Step 3

Now you need to get a big bowl and to put in it the already cooked stalk mushroom mixture. Add the cream cheese, the breadcrumbs, the parmesan, and the chopped parsley. Season the ingredients in the bowl with some salt and black pepper, about a teaspoon from each. And then mix all the ingredients well until it becomes a homogeneous mixture seasoned evenly.

Step 4

The next thing you need to do is to take a baking tin and cover the bottom of it with some baking paper. Then get the mushroom caps and put them onto the backing tin with some space between them. Get a spoonful of the parmesan mixture and stuff a mushroom cap with it.

Do the same with the rest of the mushroom caps. When all of them are stuffed, get some grated parmesan and sprinkle it on top of each of the stuffed mushrooms.

Step 5

The last thing you need to do is to bake the mushrooms for about 20 minutes at 1750 C. When they are ready, take them out of the oven. You can serve them sprinkled with some chopped parsley if you like. And the recipe is ready!

#2 Spinach Stuffed Mushrooms

Ingredients:

20 mushrooms
4 cups of spinach
8 ounces of cream cheese
¼ cup of parmesan
¼ cup of breadcrumbs
2 cloves of minced garlic
salt to taste
black pepper to taste

Directions:

Step 1

Start again by washing the mushrooms well or peeling the first layer of them. Then separate the stalks from the mushroom caps. Get all the mushroom stalks and chop them very thinly.

Step 2

Now get a pan and heat some oil in it. Add the chopped mushroom stalks in it and the chopped garlic. Mix them a little while cooking them at the same time and then add the spinach. Stir the whole mixture once again and continue doing so until the spinach shrinks a little.

Add the cream cheese into the heated pan with the rest of the ingredients. Season them with salt and black pepper to your taste and then stir the mixture well. In a minute or so after that take the pan off the hotplate.

Step 3

Now you need to get a baking tin and to line it with some baking paper. Get the mushroom caps and put them onto the tin with some distance between them. Then get the creamy spinach mixture and stuff each of the mushroom caps with a spoonful of it.

Step 4

When the mushrooms are stuffed with the creamy mixture, get a clean bowl and mix in it the parmesan and the breadcrumbs. Mix them really well until it all becomes a homogeneous mixture. Then sprinkle about a teaspoon of this mixture on each one of the stuffed mushrooms.

Step 5

And now you need to bake the mushrooms for 12-15 minutes at 1900 C. When the top of the mushrooms gets nicely baked, they would be ready. Take them out of the oven and serve them.

Enjoy your meals!
