The ever-famous fishtail braided crown hairstyle will make your whole look amazing for any upcoming event – whatever the occasion!
With practice, the braided crown hairstyle can take all of 5 to 10 minutes. Yet, some beginners find it super difficult and tricky to do. That’s why this tutorial is designed in a way to suit both professionals and those who have no idea what are doing with their hair in front of the mirror.
You will find the steps very easy to follow, so let’s see what you need to do.
Step 1: To begin, separate a medium section of your hair from the top left and begin your fishtail braid. To do this, split your ponytail evenly into two sections. Unlike the classic plait, a fishtail braid only requires two sections. Use your finger to separate a small section of your hair from the outer edge near the elastic and cross it over to the opposite side. Re-grip your hair to tighten plait.
Step 2: Follow this technique to separate a medium section from your hair from the top right and create another fishtail braid. Finish your fishtail braids by gently tugging on your braids with your fingers to loosen it for an effortless look.
Step 3: Next up, add a texturizing spray to your hair as it adds additional volume and natural shine.
Step 4: Now, use your hands to separate your hair into two big sections.
Step 5: Create 2 normal braids and tie the ends with an elastic band. This should be done by incorporating the rest of your hair into the braids.
Step 6: With your two braids, start wrapping the around your hair line, one by one.
Step 7: Then, pin it on top of your head using enough bobby pins.
Step 8: Take the other braid and pin it on top, creating a continuous circle with the other braids.
