Step 1: Section your hair into two parts and pin the crown section on top of your head to get it out of the way for now.

Step 3: Use the bottom portion of your hair to make another bun underneath the first one. If you hair is thin, consider backcombing it first. Take a strand of your hair, hold it straight upward, place your comb in the roots and apply firm brush strokes downward to the scalp. You can use strong holding hairspray to secure the volume. Repeat the procedure with the next sections of hair. This is will create a messier look.
Step 4: Take down the crown section of your hair.
Step 5: Tease the crown of your hair as this will make the Mohawk very big. Select a small amount of hair to stay out near the front side of your face.
Step 6: Use this section to roll it down your scalp, above the messy buns.
Step 7: Use a few bobby pins to secure this section in place.
Step 8: Take the last small piece of hair and twist it.
Step 9: Continue twisting the small piece of hair into a coil bun on the side of your head. Use enough bobby pins to secure this section.
Step 10: The only thing left is to add a quick blast of hairspray and your big Mohawk is ready!
