One of the first things that comes to a person’s mind when they think of winter is snow. This is why white is one of the top colors which people associate winter with and this is also why they include them in different parts of a person’s everyday life, like fashion, makeup, home interior and so on.
And since winter could be such a great season especially if one gives it a chance to be such, we felt inspired by it and decided to give you amakeup look ideainspired by the season. As you can probably guess, it will rather be brighter with a touch of white and sparkle since winter is a white and sparkling season. Here are the idea we have prepared for you!
Winter Nude Sparkle
The winter makeup idea we have prepared for you is all about light and nude colors. That is why you will need a palette of nude eyeshadow colors and some sparkle in white.
The first thing you need to do is to prime your face. It is important to do it in order to smooth your skin and to protect in a way your skin from the layer of foundation that you are going to apply on it.
Then you need to apply the foundation. To find out the best foundation color for you, you need to match it to your neck complexion. And lastly to apply some concealer under your eyes.
Once the base of your makeup is ready, you can move on to applying the eyeshadows. Get some purple-greyish base nude hue which you need to apply on your crease. This will be your transition color. Blend it lightly.
Then get another color which needs to be more of a grey one but neither too dark, nor too light. Apply it on the center of your eyelid and then get a clean blending brush blending the second color with the first color you have applied on your crease.
After that you need to get a black eyeshadow and apply some of it on the outer corner of your eyelids. Dap it slightly there and then blend it with a blending brush.
The next color you need to use needs to be some sparkling white one which you need to apply on your brow bone and the inner corners of your eyes as usual. This will open up your look and will make it more sparkly and typically wintery one.
Lastly about your eyeshadow look you need to get some black eyeshadow again and to apply it on your bottom lash line with an angle brush. You could focus only on the outer half of your lash line. You could also so the same with your upper lash line – apply some black smudging it a little instead of applying eyeliner.
Once you are ready with this you need to apply a couple of layers of mascara on both your upper and lower lashes. If you like false lashes, you could put such ones on to make your lashes look longer and thicker, but, of course, this is up to you.
To make this look even brighter and more sparkly you could apply some highlighter on the apples of your cheeks, your nose and the Cupid’s bow. Such kind of glow is perfect for the winter season because it is in alignment with all the colors of the nature at that time of the year.
The last thing you need to do to make this look complete is to apply some lipstick. You could go for either a matte lipstick or some glossier if you prefer, they will both do a great job.
Matte lipsticks will not allow your hair to stick on your lips when the wind blows it. On the other hand, gloss lipsticks are perfect for this time of the year because they make the look even more sparkly.
As for the color of the lipstick that you are going to choose, I recommend sticking to some color similar to the transition color you have chosen for this look.A nude one with a light purple-greyish base is a perfect one you could wear with this look because it will complement the eye makeup you have without stealing the spotlight.
And once you are ready with this, your makeup will be complete!
