Breathtaking Brown-Purple Smoky Eye Makeup

Many brown-eyed ladies are unaware of the different ways to use makeup in order to make a breathtaking fashion statement. Luckily, the internet is packed with gorgeous makeup looks and tutorials by talented makeup artists. If you need a nudge to try something new, then may we suggest experimenting with this stunning brown-purple smoky eye look? It will definitely take your makeup game to the next level!

Step 1: Apply deep brown eyeshadow across your eyelid, all the way to the crease line. Highlight your lower lash line with this colour as well. An intense, shimmery shadow works best.

Step 2: Add light brown or bronze shadow slightly above the crease line. By dabbing it along your crease line it will help you blend in the darker colour with the shimmery orange one.

Step 3: Create contrast by dusting a generous amount of purple shade on top. Continue to blend until you’ve achieved a flawless look.

Step 4: Grab a really dark purple eyeshadow and apply the colour at the centre of your eyelid. Sweep the brush back and forth to distribute the shadow evenly on your lid while smudging down any harsh lines. Using your eyeshadow brush, dab it on the inside corner of your eyelid on both your upper and lower lids.

Step 5: Practice blending by moving your makeup brush in circular movements.

Step 6: Take your liquid eyeliner and apply small, short strokes to gently draw a black line along your upper lash line. If you’re interested in doing winged or cat eye style liner, simply flick the eyeliner towards your eyebrow as you finish it.

Step 7: As a final touch to this breathtaking brown-purple smoky makeup, apply your favourite mascara to highlight your look. For the top lashes, look straight forward, take the wand and place it at the base of your lashes. Use a back-and-forth motion to give your lashes a really nice curled effect. Add several coats until you get your lashes as thick as you want. As for the bottom lashes, use the same side to side motion until you get a good coat of mascara on your lower lashes.
