Braid-Wrapped Messy Bun

Braid-Wrapped Messy Bun

In a world where we cherish every free minute out of our busy schedules it is often difficult to find time to create a cute hairstyle that fits our unique style. It is often believed that creating the perfect messy bun can take up for hours in front of the mirror in our bathroom. Do not believe everything you hear! Creating an amazing messy bun with cute wrapped braid can be achieved in just a few minutes. That is, of course, if you know how to do it properly. Although it looks complicated, do not be intimidated by this hairstyle. It may look a little challenging but I assure you it is a simple 6 step process. You can start with absolutely any texture of hair – straight, curly, curled, wavy, whatever you like.

Step 1: Separate your hair into two sections. The upper part should be significantly larger than the bottom. Tie the crown section into a ponytail using a rubber band.

Step 2: Clip the ponytail away from the rest of your hair. Now it is time to work with the bottom section. Split it in half.

Step 3: Make the first braid from the first section. When you are braiding, try to hold the braid a little looser than usual. If you braid it too tight, the look may be more severe than you want. Also, make sure you aim the braid backwards so it lies flat against your head.

Step 4: Release the pony and create a messy bun. Make your favourite bun with the ponytail, sock bun, fan bun, or a messy bun, and secure it with bobby pins.

Step 5: Wrap the braid around the bun and secure with bobby pins.

Step 6: Create another braid from the other half from the bottom, wrap it around the bun and secure. I swear, this is one of the easiest, hard-looking, hairstyle you’ll learn how to do.
