With so many different eye makeup looks that change from season to season, mastering the timelessly classic smoky eye effect and creating the latest colourful trends can be overwhelming at times even for the most skilled makeup artists. This is why this pictorial will show you a step-by-step guide on how to recreate the ever famous black-silver Gothic eye makeup look – ideal for any occasion!
Step 1: Before you begin, apply makeup primer with infallible mattifying base to lock the shine in and enhance the final makeup result. Apply just a small amount on your skin, working outwards for a flawless looking texture.
Step 2: To make the eye shadow appear dark and pigmented you will need to apply an eye pencil on the lid and crease, leaving the centre of the eye lid empty.
Step 3: With a help of firm and synthetic brush blend out the edges of the pencil. Your brush should be able to create soft edges without wiping the colour away.
Step 4: Now it is time to set the pencil with a black eye shadow. Lower your eyelid so you can have a smooth service to draw on.
Step 5: Apply a silver or white eye shadow with some shimmer on the centre of the eye lid. You can reapply black eye shadow for a darker look.
Step 6: Take your favourite liquid eyeliner and apply a delicate line across your upper lash line, starting from the outer corner of your eye towards the inner.
Step 6: To finish up our Gothic Makeup add some false lashes and line the water line with black eye pencil. If you want your look to be even more interesting you can add some silver glitter on the centre of your lid, or in the eye corner.
