Women often have to avoid doing some of their favorite things, or to change their everyday routine because of their period.

#1 How to wash stains
The first of the things we start with when it comes to a woman’s period is stains and how to get rid of them. Blood is one of the most difficult stains to remove so if you want to make it easier for you to wash your clothes once they have been stained you can put them in a mixture of cold water and a couple of tablespoons of salt.
Stir the mixture until the salt more or less dissolves and then soak your clothes in the solution overnight. In the morning the stain would have disappeared, but it still would be better if you wash your clothes as normally in the washing machine.
#2 Protect your sheets during the night
The next very annoying problem a lot of women have to deal with is getting rid of stains on their bedding set. When women lie down, the blood also goes down and leads to stains not only on the sheets but often of the bed itself.
What you can do to stop this from happening is to put an old towel on this part of the bed where your booty will be. This way the bed sheet will be protected from the blood because the towel will absorb it.
#3 Carry a period box all the time
Even if a lot of women are aware when their period will come, they can still forget about it every now and then, or their period could come earlier so they can end up being surprised by it. In such cases it is always best to carry some pads in your bag all the time.
You could even have a period box and to store in it a couple of pads and tampons. You could also keep some clean panties in the box if you accidentally have stained your current ones and need to change them. It is best to always be prepared than to be surprised.
#4 Cut down on caffeine
The next thing which you need to have in mind when you are in your period. This is because at that time of the month your body is more sensitive to everything. Caffeine can make you more nervous and irritated. You can begin taking it out on other people and both you and they will not feel good.
That is why you need to make sure you have less coffee. You can have a lot of water and warm tea instead. The tea will calm you down and at the same time warm up your body making you feel better.
#5 Wear period panties
If you still do not know, there is a type of panties which are designed for this time of the month. They are called period panties and are made to absorb some of the leaked blood. This way your clothes will be stains-free and you will be less worried about having a big red spot on your pants.
#6 Wear jeans
Apart from these panties you can also wear jeans during your period because they are thick and will also absorb some of the blood without making it show that you have stained yourself. You definitely need to avoid wearing think fabrics and clothes like short skirts and pants because it will be easier to get some stains on them compared to some thicker clothes fabrics.
