6 Different Ways to Wake up Easily in the Mornings

 

There are a lot of people who find it very difficult to wake up every morning. They set up a few alarms and still can hardly wake up. Such people are the so called “owls” who prefer to stay awake at night and sleep in the morning. But if one has to go to work then, well it could be a problem.

That is why one should find some wayto wake up easily in the mornings so they are not late for work and be able to deal with their daily tasks on time. We have prepared for you some tips which can help you do that. The good part is that they do not involve any coffee but if you want, you could still have it.

#1 Breathe in and breathe out

The first thing in our list which you could do if you are way too sleepy in the morning and cannot wake up is to start breathing deeply. What you need to do is get out of bed, or at least sit, and take three deep breaths. Slowly breathe out. This will help your nervous system wake up which as a result will lead to you waking up faster and feel less sleepy. Sometimes it is that simple to deal with a difficult problem. So make sure you try it next time you feel too sleepy to get up.

#2 Drink water

We have probably told you a dozen times that drinking water is extremely important for your health and well-being. And there is one more advantage to it – it can wake you up. What you need to do in the mornings, after you have had your breathing exercise explained in way #1, is to have a glass of water. You could add to it some fresh lemon juice as well.

This glass of water will clean the toxins from your body and at the same time will hydrate you. One of the reasons why you may feel so sleepy all day long and not only in the mornings is dehydration. If you start drinking a glass of water every morning right after you get up, you will quickly notice that you begin to feel less sleepy.

#3 Let some light get in the room

The next thing which you need to do if you want to wake up faster is to pull the curtains in order to let some light get in the room. It is good to sleep in complete darkness to have a healthy good night sleep. But once you need to get up, you should not stay in the dark. Instead you should let light in so that you wake up faster.

This way the light will irritate your eyes, which in this case is a good thing, your body will produce cortisol, which is also called the stress hormone, and thus your blood will start rushing faster. In the end, you will be less sleepy, if you are sleepy at all.

#4 Cuddle with your partner

The next thing is actually my favorite one in the list because it involves love. When you wake up in the morning, give your partner a hug. Or if you do not have a partner, you could hug your children or even your pet. This expression of love will make you feel good and happy. And you will surely feel less sleepy with those warm emotions you are feeling. And speaking of cuddling, there is another thing which could follow it that will surely wake you up leaving you not sleepy at all.

#5 Have sex

It is no secret that men often feel horny in the mornings. Even if you do not feel like having sex at that time just because you are sleepy, you could still do it in order to wake up faster. You will make your partner happy and you will also feel the pros of the situation by feeling less sleepy and ready to face your daily tasks. You should never underestimate the power of a good sex.

#6 Have a cold shower

One of the most common ways to wake up faster and to feel less sleepy is a cold shower. But even if you do not feel like having a shower in the morning, you could wash your face with cold water. The shock that your body will be put through will make adrenaline rush in your body which as a result will wake you up completely. If you combine it with some of the otherways in our list, you will become fresh and more energized in the mornings.
