We all know that living a busy life is often an obstacle when having to eat healthy food. There are a lot of people who do not have time to have proper lunch, so they either tend to skip it, or they have some kind of fast food instead. Some even skip breakfast and have late dinner, which is definitely not good for one’s digestive system, and, of course, health and weight.

So, if you are a business person and you do not have a lot of time to worry about your meals, but you still want to eat healthily, we have prepared a list of foods which you can carry in your bag and have them when you have time, or when you get hungry.

There is no need to get out of the office to buy food, or to carry extra bags and lunchboxes so that you can protect your food from spilling in your bag. Here are some kinds of food that you can safely carry around in your bag without worrying that your belongings may get messy.

#1 Dry fruits

Fruits are quite healthy and one should eat them every day. Well, since fruits are quite watery, it is quite hard to carry them around without making a mess in your bag. So, you could have some dry fruits instead. They are healthy and sweat and you could have them at any part of the day, whenever you feel hungry, or you need some energy to proceed with your work. So, consider them as one very good alternative to snacks.

#2 Nuts

Here is another kind of food that is perfect for a midday snack that will give you energy – nuts. Walnuts, for example, are food for your brain and if you have a handful of walnuts while you are working or studying, you will refresh your brain and you will have more energy to do it.

And not only walnuts are healthy, but all kinds of nuts. So, you should better keep a small package of nuts in your bag and have them when you feel tired or hungry. The important thing you need to remember is that it is best if the nuts are raw. This way they will be even healthier than baked.

#3 Granola bar

Good news for all of you who like granola bars –they are perfect for a snack in between meals. They are perfectly safe when left in your bag, because they are not watery and would not leave traces of its ingredients all over your bag. They are small, but are perfectly able to satisfy your hunger for some time. So, keep a bar or two in your bag, just in case.

#4 Jerky

If you are not a vegetarian, then you should consider jerky as one of the options you have for getting something to eat. This is because jerky is very delicious and it is not oily at all. In fact, it is dry, but not that much so it would be hard for you to chew it.

The best thing about this kind of meat is that it will not rot because of the high temperature in your bag, for example. Keep a couple of pieces of jerky in a plastic bag in your bag and you will have the opportunity to have it every time you need energy or something to eat.

#5 Cheese sticks

Some people may argue that this is not the healthiest kind of meal, because they are fried, but still they are very easy to carry around. You just need to put them in a plastic bag and your bag will be kept safe. Another thing which is good about them is that these cheese sticks have a lot of proteins and you could easily satisfy your hunger with one or two sticks.
